Wanted to try some local apples & fresh products. The country store selling local & onsite products & chocolates. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on this day (scheduled as open?) The staff & service was helpful. We purchased jars of apple butter jam spread. The barn ambiance was authentic Apple orchard farm.
This was a great lunch spot! We stopped in on our way to Gatlinburg and our whole table of 6 commented about how good the food was. Definitely order the fritters with apple butter. Two of my kids ordered the pork chops and said they were delicious! It also looked like plenty to share! One child loved the fried chicken and it would definitely be a meal that could be shared with someone else. I filled up on the salad and loaded potato and was more than satisfied.
The service was excellent, the catfish well seasoned, well cooked & not greasy & the apple stuff are alll delicious! 100/10 recommend!
I cannot attest to the apple picking or anything else, as it was crazy packed and we came here just for the float. I saw this advertisement on Facebook long before our trip and since it was right off the highway, we had to stop. It was insanely busy. I couldn't believe how busy it was, especially how hot it was. The apple cider floats was very good. The cider donut and whipped cream and caramel was delicious. A scoop of ice cream inside with apple cider. Yum! The caramel apple pie was covered in homemade caramel and I couldn't get enough! We would come back on a week day, but not a weekend that's for sure.
Large variety of apples, cheeses, jams and anything else you can think of canned. Nice people that run the place.
